1993.5 Infiniti G20
Opening Day
I got this car back when I turned 15. I actually did not even have my learners but got it three days later. My dad worked for Troncalli Infiniti of Decatur and had the car come in and the guy didn't want much for it so my dad bought it for $1000. His co-worker had a wrecked one and so my dad took out the interior and replaced it with his co-worker's good interior.
He brough it home and I saw it, looked nice. I thought it was a customer's car he took so he could hear a noise or whatever reason the customer or he needed to ride it home.
As we were leaving for a reaturaunt for my birthday dinner, he hands me to the keys and say, "Happy Birthday!"
And so began my obsession over these cars...
Closing Day
The day that ended my journey with my first G20 was a horrible day. It was December of 2009 and it was finals week. Prior I had been 'harassed' by my english professor about a paper she was accusing me of plagerizing on it.
So it was December 2nd, and I got up and left the house ONLY because I ran some errands for my mom. So, after finishing I went to the mall and got a Steak N Shake sandwhich. After getting one and a milkshake, I went the back way home because of less traffic. On this road is a sort of sharp turn that I have taken many, many times but this fateful day I went spinning out and slid across the road in to the ditch back wards.
Luckily I wasn't hurt and I was ticked I lost my first and favorite car. The wreck does not look all that bad but there was a ragin storm drain with about 5 feet of water rushing down it. Also, the body started to crush and bend BUT the glass did not break or have any stress fractures, which I thought, was insane. But all this is history.
